Latera is an Android app from drinkingc0ffee. It provides bilateral stimulation (BLS) for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This page describes what the app does with information on your device.

What Latera stores

Latera does not require an account and does not use the internet. It keeps a few preferences on the phone so they survive a restart:

• beats per second
• ball size
• black or white background
• whether audio is on or off

Those values stay in the app’s private storage on your device. They are not uploaded, synced, or shared.

What Latera does not collect

Latera does not collect or transmit:

• name, email, or other account details
• location
• contacts, photos, or files
• health or session notes
• advertising IDs or analytics
• crash reports to a third party

There are no ads, no trackers, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.

Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent, or share Latera user data. The app does not send data to drinkingc0ffee or to anyone else. Google Play may process information under Google’s own policies when you download or update the app from the Play Store.

Children

Latera is not directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

How to delete stored settings

Uninstall Latera, or clear the app’s storage in Android settings. That removes the on-device preferences. There is no server copy to delete.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use of Latera after a change means you accept the updated policy.
